Feeding on protein content (Fish Feed Manager Advanced)

Feeding on protein content (Fish Feed Manager Advanced)

This is visible if Device setting Advanced Fish Feed Manager under the tab “My Devices” is enabled.

Because the amount of protein that each fish needs is entered in the Fish Management, a total amount of protein is calculated which is required under ideal conditions (such as water temperature, filter capacity, maintenance of the pond system, etc.) to allow the fish to grow optimally and to maintain. Total protein is displayed in the Fish Feed Manager information window behind “Total protein (calculated)”.
» In the field “Crude protein percentage of the fish food (%):” you enter the crude protein percentage of the fish food to be used that is specified by the manufacturer. You do this per each Type of Fish Food and possibly also with MIX.
» In the field “Percentage Net Protein Utilization (NPU) of the fish food (%):” enter the Net Protein Utilization of the fish food to be used that is specified by the manufacturer.
You do this per each Type of Fish Food and possibly also with MIX. If the NPU value is not known, you can enter 100%.

The maximum amount of fish food will be visible in the “Maximum amount of fish food” field.
The maximum selectable percentage becomes visible in the field “Maximum selectable feeding rate percentage in feeding schedule (%):”.

In the Feeding schedule, the maximum selectable Feeding rate is adjusted accordingly, and after selecting a feed percentage, the actual amount of protein that is given is made visible in the column “Amount of protein (NPU) per day (gr)”.

Click the “SAVE” button at the bottom of the tab to save the changes.

Remark! It is important that the maximum selectable feeding rate percentage that is displayed is for ideal pond conditions, such as water temperature, filter capacity, pond system maintenance, etc. Feeding rate percentage in the Feeding schedule must be adjusted accordingly at all times.
